Rebecca K. Schisler-Adams plays a vital role in supporting litigation efforts at the firm. Her practice includes a broad spectrum of complex civil litigation, including real estate, business and corporate disputes, insurance defense, and estate and trust matters. Rebecca has a proven track record of successfully representing both individual and corporate clients in trials throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia, obtaining several successful jury verdicts on cases with claims for breach of contract, negligence, slander of title, trespass, and easement rights. In addition, Rebecca has a robust guardianship practice, where she represents both the petitioner, and frequently acts as a court-appointed attorney, advocating for alleged disabled individuals in Maryland.

Rebecca honed her skills at a private practice firm specializing in insurance defense and general liability litigation. Following her law school graduation, she served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Mark W. Crooks of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland. During her law school tenure, she also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Rudolph Contreras of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2020, where she held the position of Editor for the Catholic University Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2017, majoring in sociology and philosophy.

A native of Talbot County, Maryland, Rebecca attended Saints Peter and Paul High School. During the academic year, she dedicates her time to volunteer as a Mock Trial Coach for St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis, Maryland. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, daughter, and their beloved dog.
