Shannon Hayden Fogarty
Associate
Shannon Hayden Fogarty focuses her practice on estate and trust administration and estate planning. She prepares tailored estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, advance medical directives, and financial powers of attorney, designed to reflect each client’s personal priorities and long-term objectives. With a calm and empathetic approach, Shannon supports individuals and families through the complexities of estate and trust administration, helping ease the legal and practical responsibilities that arise.
Before transitioning her practice to estate planning and administration, Shannon spent several years representing beneficiaries, trustees, and personal representatives in complex estate and fiduciary litigation. This foundation provides Shannon with a unique, strategic perspective in the planning process, which allows her to anticipate where conflicts commonly arise, understand how courts analyze and interpret planning documents, and structure comprehensive plans designed to minimize ambiguity, reduce the potential for disputes, and carry out each client’s intentions.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served on the Executive Board of the University of Baltimore Law Review as a Production Editor, Shannon completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Cathleen M. Vitale of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
